The health (physically and mentally) of sex workers and those that are using the services of sex workers always comes first! It is illegal in New Zealand to provide sex services without the proper protection and condoms are a MUST during oral (mouth) and/or penetrative sex (vaginal and anal).
The NZPC (Aotearoa New Zealand Prostitutes Collective) is a New Zealand wide organisation, which is run by sex workers for sex workers. NZPC advocates advocate for the rights, safety, health, and well being of all sex workers. They are a grass roots, not-for-profit organisation. NZPC provides information and services for people who are doing sex work or thinking about doing sex work.
NZPC wants sex workers to be empowered to have control over our own work and lives. We are run by current and former sex workers, for sex workers. Our services focus on workers rights, HIV and STI prevention, and education. We also provide safer sex supplies to sex workers, including condoms, water-based lubricant and dams, as well as sexual health check-ups at our community bases. (Find nearest branch)
We highly recommend that all new comers and even experienced workers, check in with the NZPC at least once during their time in the sex industry and ask for any advice or information about escorting in New Zealand and safe sex practices.
